24-Year-Old Man Arrested After Stabbing His Grandmother in Orange City
A 24-year-old man was arrested on Friday after reportedly stabbing his 72-year-old grandmother during an argument at their apartment in Orange City, Florida. The Orange City Police Department and paramedics were called to the Orange City Flats apartments shortly after 11 a.m. upon receiving a distress call about the incident.
According to officials, an argument broke out between the man and his grandmother, during which he grabbed a knife and stabbed her. Emergency responders quickly transported the injured woman to HC Florida, Lake Monroe Hospital, where she was admitted as a trauma alert. As of now, the extent of her injuries has not been disclosed.
