FOX 2, Port Huron, Mich.Tens of thousands of dollars’ worth of stolen goods were recovered after a series of break-ins, and a guy was charged with both theft and drug offenses.
Numerous thefts from storage units, copper wiring thefts, and porch thefts were recorded, according to the Port Huron Police Department.
On December 17, a residence in Port Huron’s 800 block of Garfield Street was searched as a result of an investigation into these thefts. Six ounces of crystal meth and almost $50,000 worth of stolen goods were discovered by the police during that search.
William Kenneth Evenson, 54, was accused of meth possession, receiving and hiding stolen items, and breaking and entering with intent. The amount of his bond was 100,000/10%.
