6-year-old seriously hurt in Sterling Heights crash

(FOX 2) STERLING HEIGHTS, MIOver the weekend, a six-year-old kid was seriously hurt in a four-vehicle collision.

According to police, around 5:15 p.m. on Sunday, the Shelby Township youngster was a passenger in a Chevrolet Cruze heading south on Dequindre when they veered into oncoming traffic close to Roseann Drive. The Cruze collided with a Chevrolet Suburban, which in turn collided with a northbound Chevrolet Traverse.

After that, the Cruze collided with the rear of a Subaru Forester traveling north on Dequindre.

The injured youngster is in critical but stable condition in the hospital right now. Every other motorist and passenger received treatment on the spot or received treatment at a hospital and then was discharged.
