Kiva Swander-Kirby, a 30-year-old man from Alachua, Florida, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with domestic battery by strangulation following a disturbing incident with his girlfriend. According to the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO), the argument began when Swander-Kirby expressed a desire to have an open conversation about negative aspects of their relationship. However, when his girlfriend asked when they would continue the conversation, Swander-Kirby reportedly told her he was tired and wanted to sleep, sparking a heated argument.
The argument escalated into a chaotic scene, during which a naked Swander-Kirby defecated on the floor. His girlfriend, realizing his mental instability, screamed for help.
