Ohio State coach Ryan Day breaks silence on ‘fan backlash’ from major broadcasting change involving his CFB team

OHIO State fans are in an uproar about their team’s scheduling.

Six of Ohio State’s final games will be played in the noon window, infuriating college football fans.

The uproar came after it was announced that the top-five matchup between Ohio State and Indiana would be played on Fox for the Big Noon Saturday matchup on November 23.

With that game being scheduled, it means the team’s remaining three games will all be played on Big Noon Saturday, with no night games for the fans.

While it is upsetting to viewers, head coach Ryan Day tried to talk his fans down.

“Well, listen. I gotta deal with a lot of fan backlash for things other than the times of games, so I’m gonna leave that for other people to deal with. I got other things I got to deal with,” he said.

“We’re gonna put the football down and go play. I’ll worry about the team.”

Day is no stranger to backlash as he is one of the most criticized coaches in college football.

Somehow, he found a way to find even more criticism for the way he answered the question about the game times.

“Day complaining that fans are mad that he cant beat michigan,” one fan said.

“I’m more upset about six straight games with Ryan Day as head coach,” another fan said.

“This is the grownup way to deal with start times,” another fan said.
