Dollar Tree’s $5 ‘Lazy Susan’ is flying off shelves – it’s similar to the Walmart version but costs over 94% less

CUSTOMERS looking for a special addition to their fall decor this year can find affordable options at Dollar Tree.

The discount retailer sells all of its decorations and homeware at a starting price of $1.25, and many cost no more than $5.

In preparation for holiday feasts, the Harvest-Themed Lazy Susan from Dollar Tree is essential.

A Lazy Susan is a circular tray often placed at the center of a dining table that rotates to help serve guests food, condiments, and whatever else they decide to put on it.

The Harvest-Themed wooden option from Dollar Tree is 14 inches in diameter, with plenty of room to hold whatever is required by shoppers, per the product description.

There are also two variations available to purchase.

SAVVY SHOPPING

Four items to grab at Dollar Tree that fans promise make the ‘most sense’

Each features a white floral decorative border but has different sentiments at the center.

One says, “Grateful,” while the other reads, “Hello Fall.”

The variations are sold separately at $5.00 a piece in-store only.

Most items are also offered to buy in bulk from warehouses on Dollar Tree’s website, but that option for the Harvest-Themed Lazy Susan is unavailable at this time.

SHOPPERS SATISFIED

Many who already bought Dollar Tree’s Lazy Susan have praised it, encouraging the retailer to never get rid of it for Thanksgiving and the holiday season.

“I truly hope Dollar Tree will continue to carry some sort of version of this item going forward!” a customer exclaimed.

“Great quality! Love them. Giving them as gifts!!” another wrote.

“If you have it at your store, get it while you can!” a third added.

“I love my lazy Susie, it’s smooth and doesn’t get stuck,” someone else noted.

The Harvest-Themed Lazy Susan is also a nearly identical dupe of Walmart’s Lazy Susan for Kitchen Table Top from BarConic, with the “Hello Fall” sentiment and a similar floral bordering.

BUY IT NOW

  • Harvest-Themed Lazy Susan from Dollar Tree: $5.00 – buy here
  • Walmart’s Lazy Susan for Kitchen Table Top from BarConic: $85.99 – buy here

Except Walmart’s option costs $85.99, a whopping $80.99 more than at Dollar Tree.

That’s an over 94% price uptick, although there are some crucial differences between the Walmart and Dollar Tree Lazy Susans.

MANUFACTURING QUALITY

For example, Walmart’s Lazy Susan is made of Baltic birch wood and comes in three sizes — 12 inches, 16 inches, and 24 inches.

There’s also a three-quarter-inch black molding wrap around the side of Walmart’s Lazy Susan to protect its edges and the table it rests on.

It’s completely hand-crafted and made in the United States as well.

Needless to say, the quality of the features in the Walmart Lazy Susan would explain its high price point.

Deciding which option is best will be determined by shoppers’ budgets and personal preferences this holiday season.

Both Walmart and Dollar Tree are also selling out of Christmas decorations already.
