Craig Melvin to officially replace Hoda Kotb as Today co-anchor as host says he’s ‘beyond excited and grateful’ for gig
HODA Kotb’s replacement has been announced.
Craig Melvin will join Savannah Guthrie as a co-anchor on the Today show.
Craig will step up to the plate in January.
The anchor is a familiar face to Today viewers as he’s worked with the network for 14 years.
Hoda’s last day on the show is Friday, January 10.
Craig will start on Monday, January 13.

He’ll sit beside Savannah for the 7 am and 8 am hours of the show.
He currently anchors the 9 am hour of the program.
