Tom Brady makes heartbreaking admission on parenting as Fox NFL Sunday star admits ‘I’ve screwed up a lot’
NFL legend Tom Brady has opened up about his parenting style – and admits he’s made plenty of mistakes.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion has three children, including two with ex-wife Gisele Bundchen.
Brady shares son Benjamin, 14, and daughter Vivian, 11, with the Brazilian supermodel.
The 46-year-old also has a son Jack, 17, with former girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.
Brady appeared at the Fortune Global Forum in New York City on Tuesday.
The New England Patriots icon opened up on parenting and was critical of his own approach.

“All of the parents in the room know that being a parent is probably the hardest job all of us have,” Brady said.
“We screw up a lot, and I’ve screwed up a lot as a parent.
“So I don’t want to seem like I’m some expert in parenting, because I’m certainly not that.”
Brady retired from the NFL in February 2023 and has cited his family among the reasons for finally hanging up his pads.
“I have three amazing kids. I just try to be dependable and consistent for them,” he continued.
“Whatever your kids choose to do in life, you’ve got to support.”
The 47-year-old has launched a new career as a Fox analyst this season.
He also revealed on Tuesday 6-foot-5 son Jack is a budding basketball player.
“Unfortunately he jumps as high as I do,” Brady quipped.
The NFL superstar’s parenting style has been learnt from his own parents Tom Snr. and Galynn, who pushed him to pursue a career in sports.
“The blessing my parents gave me was when I was that longshot as a kid who was a backup quarterback on a freshman team, they never said, ‘Man, don’t do that,” Brady added.
“It’s going to be too hard. Let’s do something different. Let’s think about another backup plan.’
“They kind of said, ‘You know what? Go for it.’
“And that’s probably my parenting style.”
Brady’s new role on Fox has helped propel the sports network to record ratings.
Fox Sports has enjoyed the best first half of an NFL season since 2016.
Total viewership is up six per cent on last season’s average at this stage.
