Rob Gronkowski in emotional post after Fox NFL Sunday star takes center stage with girlfriend Camille Kostek at awards
ROB Gronkowski has been inducted into the Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame.
The four-time Super Bowl champion, 35, was born in Amherst, a suburb of Buffalo.
While he never played for his hometown Buffalo Bills, Gronk was celebrated by the area in which he grew up.
The former tight end’s achievement was marked by a lavish ceremony at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center earlier this week.
After the bash, Gronk posted a series of snaps on social media.
In the first picture, he posed alongside thrilled girlfriend Camille Kostek.

He accompanied the pictures with a heartfelt caption.
“Thank you to the City of Buffalo for inducting me into to the Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame!” he began.
“My foundation of grit, confidence and success growing up was built thru all my friendships, teachers, coaches and my family.”
He went on to add hashtags “Buffalo”, “halloffame” and “whatsnext??”
Camille, 32, also posted after the event.
Alongside a selfie, she wrote, “Shoutout to this buffalo glam squad who quickly got me ready for the buffalo sports hall of fame.”
Gronkowski played for the New England Patriots between 2010 and 2018.
In March 2019 he announced his retirement from the NFL, only to later reverse his decision.
The following year he was traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a move that reunited him with Tom Brady.
Gronk added a fourth Super Bowl to his collection while in Tampa Bay, his first outside of New England.
‘That’s what makes him so great’
New England Patriots legend Rob Gronkowski says Tom Brady’s greatness is down to consistency.
Brady continued playing until he was 45, leaving many people asking what was the secret to his longevity – and his longtime friend has the answer.
“You really don’t see that anymore in this generation, he really practices what he preaches,” Gronk told former teammate Julian Edelman, 38, on the Games with Names podcast.
“There are no and, ifs, or buts about Tom Brady being Tom Brady.
“What he puts out there, what he preaches, he practices it.
“There’s no doubt about it. There are a lot of people out there on social media, or at a lecture, they’re reminiscing about, ‘This is what you gotta do to be great, this is what you gotta do to be successful.’
“Well Tom Brady does what he says on a daily basis.
“He takes care of his body, he takes care of his mind, he competes, and that’s what makes him so great.”
Ahead of his second retirement, announced in the summer of 2022, Gronkowski had the possibility of joining his hometown Buffalo Bills.
“My second year in Tampa, I hit free agency for my first time ever, so I just talked to the Bills a little bit,” he revealed on WGR Radio.
“It was like a five percent chance that I was going to be a Buffalo Bill my last year of playing in the NFL.”
He later added, “It was always a dream to play for the Buffalo Bills. It doesn’t always work out.”
