Hannah Kobayashi mystery deepens as missing woman spotted in YouTube vid & dad reveals ‘she felt like she was in danger’
THE desperate dad of a missing woman has revealed he fears his daughter is in danger after a string of eerie text messages.
Hannah Kobayashi, 30, hasn’t been seen or heard from in almost a week with internet detectives now claiming to have spotted her walking around Los Angeles in a YouTube video.
Hannah was on a cross country trip from her home in Maui to New York City on November 8, but never completed the final leg of her journey.
She was last seen in Los Angeles where her phone pinged for the final time on November 11.
Her desperate family have filed a missing person’s report with the Los Angeles Police Department in recent days as they continue to appeal for help.
Hannah’s father, Ryan Kobayashi, has now decided to take the hunt for his daughter into his own hands and flown to Los Angeles.

He believes his daughter could be “in danger” based on a number of worrying text messages sent to family and friends last week.
On November 10, Hannah sent an eerie text to her friend saying: “I got tricked pretty much into giving away all my funds for someone I thought I loved.”
Another message reportedly referenced a “spiritual awakening” and featured an apology for acting crazy.
Before taking off to Los Angeles Mr Kobayashi urged anyone with knowledge around Hannah’s disappearance to contact the authorities as soon as they could.
He told HawaiiNewsNow: “We’re just trying to get us as much information as we can. Want to get the word out… has anyone seen my daughter?”
Describing his current emotions Mr Kobayashi said he has felt a lot of worrying and confusion in recent days.
“Everything is just a blur it seems because I haven’t slept well since I’ve heard the news, and I really don’t know… it’s just really concerning.” he added.
The dad is determined to find out where Hannah is and believes she is still in Los Angeles.
The 30-year-old had safely made it to LA and was due to board a final stop-over flight down south to New York City but never stepped foot on the plane.
Hannah’s family and friends started to worry when it landed and the woman was nowhere to be seen.
Her ex-boyfriend was reportedly making the same trip but he managed to board the plane and landed in New York like planned.
She was reportedly spotted at an event at The Grove a day later on a YouTube video.
Online sleuths claim to have also seen Hannah walking through a camera shot for a Nike advert taking place near to the LA venue.
The short video was posted on Thursday and shows a woman wearing glasses and headphones.
Despite the spot, Hannah hasn’t been seen or heard from since the text messages on Monday with her phone now turned off.
It bizarrely last pinged back at Los Angeles airport despite The Grove being an hour away from LAX.
Mr Kobayashi says Hannah rarely loses contact with her family even when she travels.
The Maui native reportedly enjoys travelling and has been across to both Europe and Asia in the past.
The father has also tried to speak directly to his daughter through a local news channel in a desperate attempt to find out where she was.
He said: “There’s a lot of people looking for you Hannah. So, if you get this, if you see anything, just go to the police, go to anybody.
