But the Netflix event washit by technical problems.
Fanscomplained of poor picture qualityand buffering.
While there were also thousands of reports of aNetflix outage during Friday’s card.

And those events haven’t filled football fans with confidence.
Netflix will broadcast twoNFLgames live on Christmas Day this year.
The streaming giants will showPatrick Mahomesand theKansas City Chiefsvisit thePittsburgh Steelers.
And that game will be followed on the holiday by theBaltimore Ravensagainst theHouston Texans.
But NFL fans watching Friday’s boxing were worried for Christmas.
“This Netflix buffering is a big problem,” one said. “I’m sure the NFL is taking detailed notes.”

While one more wrote, “The NFL better move that Christmas Day game from Netflix to Fox or something else.”
NFL games are regularly watched by around 20 million viewers in the United States.
But holiday games have drawn even bigger audiences in the past.
The 2022Thanksgivinggame between theNew York GiantsandDallas Cowboyswas watched by 42 million people.
That’s 18 million shy of the 60 million audience for Friday’s event which Netflix struggled with.

It was also announced thatBeyoncewill perform during the Texans-Ravens game on Netflix on Christmas Day.
Her show could attract more viewers, like the halftime performance at theSuper Bowlevery year tends to.
