Walmart worker’s death deemed ‘not suspicious’ by cops as mystery deepens after she was ‘baked alive’ in walk-in oven
FOUL play has been ruled out in the death of a young Walmart employee who was found burned to death inside a walk-in oven.
Gursimran Kaur’s charred remainswere discovered inside an oven in Walmart’s bakery department in Halifax, Nova Scotia, in easternCanada, on October 19.
Kaur’s anxious mother, who also worked at theWalmartlocation, found her daughter’s remains in the oven after not seeing her on the floor for an hour.
Nearly a month since the tragic incident, it’s still unclear how Kaur, 19, became trapped in the industrial oven.
However, Halifax Regional Police have ruled out foul play.
“The police investigation determined the death is not suspicious and there is no evidence of foul play,” police said in a statement on Monday.
