Football fans stunned by $653 bill for a pizza and chicken fingers at stadium – fineprint on receipt made it even worse

After allegedly charging exorbitant fees for snacks, a football stadium is facing criticism.

At a college football game on Saturday at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, one fan spent $653 on pizza and chicken fingers.

While watching the UNLV Rebels play the San Diego State Aztecs in the stadium, the shocked fan sent a friend a photo of his receipt and their food, which the friend then published on X.

Even though the Rebels defeated them 41–20 to finish 8–2 in the NCAADivision I, the cost of the food and beverages left the supporters with a negative impression.

The NFL team, the Las Vegas Raiders, moved from Oakland, California to Allegiant Stadium, which debuted in 2020 after spending $1.9 billion.

The 65,000-seat stadium is completely covered and climate-controlled to shield players and fans from the intense Nevada heat.
