Watch as bizarre dance craze sweeps world of sport & it comes from the unlikeliest of people…do YOU know who sparked it?
The biggest players in the US have performed a NEW viral dance that has swept over the sports world, but you won’t believe who came up with it.
Seldom does a celebration spread like wildfire from soccer to golf to even mixed martial arts, but this weekend, an odd dad-dance was spotted across renowned fields.
In the past, viral dances were youthful and contemporary, but this current trend is very different.
The famed dad dance that Donald Trump performed at rallies has taken over the sports world.
During the campaign trail, the president-elect gained widespread attention for pumping his fists in the air and swinging his hips back and forth.
Trump frequently performed his routines to YMCA music, but these athletes have done it to their supporters’ applause.

This dance went viral months ago, but it wasn’t until this past weekend—following the Republican’s triumph over Kamala Harris—that it became well-known in the sports world.
The weekend following Trump’s victory, American football player Nick Bosa performed the widely shared dance with his teammates from the San Francisco 49ers.
As additional NFL players performed the dad moves this weekend, Bosa set a trend.
Raiders tight end What motivated Brock Bowers to perform the Trump-inspired dance on Sunday, he told USA Today.
“Everyone has done it,” he said.
Jon Jones did that in the UFC bout I saw last night. I viewed it since I enjoy watching UFC and found it to be cool.
The president-elect himself witnessed some of Jon Jones’ skills while attending UFC 309 on Saturday at Madison Square Garden.
Trump, who was sitting next to his new friend Elon Musk, accepted the fighter’s handshake and let the president-elect hold his heavyweight title belt.
Christian Pulisic of AC Milan and the US men’s soccer team gave the most well-known performance to date.
Following his first goal in Monday’s 4-2 victory over Jamaica in St. Louis, Missouri, Pulisic broke into the so-called Trump dance.
Whether these actions are political or merely a viral fad has not been made apparent.
According to The Athletic, Pulisic was quick to emphasize that his performance was not a political dance.
I watched everyone in the NFL do it yesterday, including Jon Jones, and we were just having a little fun, he added.
I found the dance to be rather enjoyable.
Despite publicly supporting Trump, Bosa could not clarify the purpose of his dance, CNN Sports reports.
“All the guys wanted me to do it,” he remarked. The boys reminded me that I wasn’t even planning on doing it. It was enjoyable as well.
The athletic body has not considered the latest trend to be political, despite the NFL star previously receiving a fine of more than $11,000 for wearing a Make America Great Again cap during a postgame interview.

Some athletes have showcased their moves overseas, so the dance isn’t just found in America.
