Andy Reid breaks silence on Kansas City Chiefs star who was officially benched for Buffalo Bills clash after struggles

Andy Reid, the head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs, talked candidly about one of his underperforming offensive linemen.

Kingsley Suamataia, a rookie for the Chiefs, was benched during Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills.

Reid started Wanya Morris at right tackle for the Week 11 away game, while Suamataia was a healthy scratch.

Ethan Driskel, a 6-foot-8 undrafted rookie from Marshall, was Morris’s backup.

Reid finally spoke out on Monday on the choice to have Suamataia as a healthy scratch.

Reid stated during his news conference that “sometimes you have to take a step back to take a step forward,” according to Cody Tapp of Audacy’s 96.5 The Fan.
