Sister Wives’ Kody Brown pays off $130k loan after buying $2.1m Arizona mansion as ex Christine demands child support
After purchasing a $2.1 million property in Arizona, Kody and Robyn Brown, stars of SISTER Wives, paid off a $130,000 debt. He is currently battling his ex-wife Christine in court over child support for their teenage daughter.
On November 4, Kody, 55, and Robyn, 46, accepted a complete cash offer and sold their home in Flagstaff, Arizona, for $1,775,000.
Since time is of the essence, the couple bought the house for $890,000 in August 2019 and was granted for an urgent home loan, according to a 2021 U.S. Sun story.
The Home Equity Line of Credit Deed of Trust, which was submitted on November 30, 2021, states that Alaska USA Federal Credit Union granted Kody and Robyn a $130,000 loan.
The U.S. Sun can now exclusively announce that the debt has been fully repaid.
As of November 15, 2024, the sum has been paid in full, per the Deed of Release and Full Reconveyance that The U.S. Sun was able to get.

After Kody and Robyn, who have five children together, paid $2,100,000 on October 24 for a gorgeous six-bedroom, seven-bathroom home in Flagstaff, Arizona, the debt was paid off.
According to the Deed of Trust that The U.S. Sun was the only one to receive, Kody and Robyn took out a loan for $1,680,000, or 20% of the purchase price.
They contributed $420,000 as a down payment.
By November 1, 2054, the couple—who together have five children—must make monthly payments on the debt.
The records state that the house will serve as their principal abode.
HOME SWEET HOME
“Welcome to this magnificent and spacious estate that offers a unique opportunity to own a luxurious and versatile move-in ready property that boasts significant upgrades, many of which can be controlled from a smartphone,” states the real estate description for the new home.
A guest house, a detached RV garage with a workshop area, and room for seven automobiles are all features of the 7,784-square-foot residence.
The listing went on to say that the existing property setting, which is in a thickly forested area with views of Mount Elden, perfectly combines convenience, privacy, and natural beauty.
EXES AT WAR
Kody’s debt resolution coincides with a contentious custody dispute with his 52-year-old ex-wife, Christine.
Christine filed a lawsuit against Kody to get custody of their daughter Truley, who is 14 years old, and child support.
Since Kody isn’t named on the birth certificate, Christine asked the court to determine Truley’s paternity.
According to the court docket, Kody responded to the complaint in October after hiring a Utah-based attorney.
At the moment, the case is hidden from the public.
A request for comment from The U.S. Sun was not immediately answered by Kody’s attorney.
FAMILY BREAKDOWN
In recent years, Kody has split from three of his four wives.
In November 2021, Christine announced her separation from Kody.
After only a few months of dating, she announced her engagement to David Woolley in April after moving to Utah with Truely.
In October 2023, the couple tied the knot.
On Sister Wives, Christine voiced her dissatisfaction with her marriage to Kody.
He spent much of his time at Robyn’s house with their five kids, which was a huge problem in their marriage.
Then, in January 2023, Janelle and Kody revealed their separation on Sister Wives: One on One.
On the special, Janelle, 55, stated, “I’m so delighted that Kody and I are no longer together.
I don’t know, I just felt like I didn’t care anymore, and everything actually became kind of indifferent.
“I’ve kind of lamented the loss of that aspect of our lives. I wasn’t devastated. For me, it wasn’t as heartbreaking as it was for Christine.
“I just felt like I was grieving the loss of that life.” We had a fantastic run.
The couple also argued on the show because of Kody’s conflict with their sons and the fact that he lived mostly with Robyn.
