A recent rumor that Matt Gaetz had a threesome with a teenage girl has been ridiculed.

Shortly before startling new accusations and testimony surfaced on Thursday, the former Florida representative withdrew as Donald Trump’s pick for attorney general.

According to CNN, the 17-year-old woman testified before the House Ethics Committee that she had two sex encounters with Gaetz at a party in 2017.

Gaetzbashed the claims as “Years-old allegations of a sexual / salacious nature from sources DOJ previously deemed not credible assembled by people with a political motive.”

According to the unknown woman’s testimony, another adult woman was part in the second encounter.

According to CNN, the adult woman denied taking part in the purported encounter.

Gaetz has denied having sex with a minor on numerous occasions.

After looking into these claims, the Justice Department chose not to charge him.

The dossier on SteeleGaetz made reference to a document that contained damaging details about Trump prior to the 2016 election.

Shortly after CNN contacted him for comment regarding the allegations of his threesome with an adult and a juvenile, Gaetz made his withdrawal public.

“I will be removing my name from consideration to be Attorney General because there is no time to squander on an unnecessary, drawn-out Washington dispute. On Day 1, Trump’s DOJ needs to be operational and prepared,” he wrote on X.

In reaction to his comments, his wife, Ginger Luckey Gaetz, posted a note expressing her support for her husband.

“Nobody loves America more than you,” she wrote.

Additionally, she posted a photo of the duo ascending the Capitol steps together.

“My meetings with senators yesterday went really well. I value their insightful comments as well as the amazing support from so many people. Although there was a lot of enthusiasm, it is evident that my confirmation was unjustly taking attention away from the important work being done by the Trump/Vance Transition. I will be removing my name from consideration for the position of Attorney General because there is no time to squander on an unnecessary, drawn-out Washington dispute. On Day 1, Trump’s DOJ needs to be established and operational.

“I am still totally dedicated to making Donald J. Trump the most prosperous president in history. The fact that President Trump nominated me to head the Department of Justice will always be an honor, and I have no doubt that he will save America.

“The end of an era,” she wrote as the caption for the picture.

Trump expressed his support for Gaetz’s decision to resign in a statement posted on Truth Social.

“I greatly appreciate the recent efforts of Matt Gaetz is seeking approval to be Attorney General,” Trump stated.

“He was doing great, but he also didn’t want to cause any trouble for the Administration, which he greatly admires.

“Matt has a wonderful future, and I look forward to watching all of the great things he will do!”

Although the DOJ ended its investigation into Gaetz last year, there have been increasing calls for the House Ethics Committee to make public its findings.
