Travis Kelce’s stolen watch found in hunt for ‘crime ring’ that raided his $6 million mansion and NFL stars’ homes

After Travis Kelce’s mansion and Patrick Mahomes’ house were broken into last month, police have found the stolen watch.

Along with Kelce’s first Super Bowl jersey and fancy clothing, over $100,000 worth of jewelry was taken from his Kansas City residence, including the expensive watch.

ABC News reports that Kelce’s watch was discovered by police in Providence, Rhode Island.

Providence is located in the Kansas City metropolitan area, some 1,400 miles from Kelce’s home in Leawood, Kansas.

The burglars seem to know what they’re looking for, where it is in the house, and they’re in and out in fifteen minutes, a security source told ABC News.

Previously, police had not reported that a watch had been taken from the Chiefsstar.

CRIME RING

Nonetheless, they attested to the theft of $20,000 from Kelce’s house.

“Travis got upset as they stole some important items, including his first Super Bowl jersey, and to have someone get into his private home is something he really got uncomfy about,” a source told The Sun of the United States.

The robberies were committed within hours of one another, and the FBI joined the hunt for the skilled crooks responsible.

According to a police report obtained by the U.S. Sun from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, on October 6, shortly after midnight, authorities arrived at Mahomes’ Belton estate.

An hour before the Chiefs and New Orleans Saints were scheduled to play Monday Night Football at Arrowhead Stadium, Kelce’s home in Leawood was broken into at around 7 p.m. the following evening.

The FBI thinks the robbers who target the athletes are a member of a worldwide criminal organization.

It’s possible that a planned attack on even more sports celebrities, such as professional players in Minneapolis and Milwaukee, targeted Kelce, 35, and Mahomes, 29.

The U.S. Sun was informed by a source close to the investigation that the thieves took jewels and high-end purses from Mahomes’ 29-year-old wife, Brittany.

In addition, a few of Mahomes’ trophies, medals, and jerseys were taken from his man cave.

Last week, the talented quarterback spoke out about the crime.

“Obviously, it’s frustrating,” he commented to reporters.

Diamonds are forever

The newest Super Bowl rings from Kansas City pay homage to their game-winning move with 529 diamonds and 38 rubies.

On Thursday, June 13, the Chiefs showed off their newest jewelry during a special event.

The years that Kansas City won Super Bowls in 1969, 2019, 2022, and 2023 are displayed on the new bling.

At Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, Andy Reid’s “Tom and Jerry” play, which won Super Bowl LVIII, is also hand-drawn on it.

In February, Kansas City defeated the San Francisco 49ers 25–22 in overtime.

Additionally, the 22 diamonds on the rings stand in for the points Kansas City scored in overtime and the second half.

Additionally, 19 diamonds stand for their eight consecutive AFC West crowns and 11 consecutive winning seasons.

Additionally, a memorial patch honors the late Norma Hunt, the matriarch of the Chiefs’ family, who passed away last summer.

“It’s upsetting, but since the inquiry is still ongoing, I can’t go into too much information.

“Obviously, something that you don’t want to have happen to really anybody, but obviously yourself.”

The news of the break-ins disturbed Kelce’s famous girlfriend, Taylor Swift, but she didn’t let it bother her because she didn’t keep many things at the tight end’s $6 million estate.

“[Taylor] felt bad for what happened despite not having many belongings there, but felt bad for her man and for the Mahomes,” according to a source.

Days after the robberies, Mahomes reportedly tightened up security at their house.

‘LEGIT’ CRIME RING

According to Kansas City Fox affiliate WDAF-TV, investigators think the attacks were planned by a South American criminal organization.

Tom Pelisserowroteon of NFL Network wrote on Thursday that rumors of the criminal organization were “legit.”

“It’s a transnational crime ring, and over the last three weeks, they’ve focused on NBA and NFL players, and it’s all over the country,” he stated.

Regarding the continuing investigation, Leawood police declined to comment.

According to sources who spoke to ABC News, burglars target athletes based on their game schedules so they can determine when they won’t be home.
