McDonald’s fans vow to ‘boycott’ over Grinch Happy Meal and fume they’ve ‘betrayed the nation’

A boycott has been started by MCDONALD’S fans who are furious that Grinch Happy Meals will not be available in the US.

Foodies are outraged, saying the business has “betrayed the nation” since the meals were introduced in the UK and Canada.

A family card game and cute Grinch plush toys are included with the special holiday meals.

However, it appears that this holiday season, Americans will have to do without them.

Using a number of hashtags to highlight her outrage, a furious Facebook post has called on Americans to avoid dining there.

“Let me just get this straight,” says Brianna Marie Gordy in her post. You award the Grinch cups to Canada.

Given that prior international McDonald’s promotions have made their way to the US, the themed Happy Meal might also make its way there.
