Putin will ‘shut down power grids’ & ‘turnout lights for millions’ in cyber attacks – but we are watching YOU, MP warns

A RAGING According to an MP, Vladimir Putin might launch a ruthless cyberattack that would “turn lights off for millions” and shut down electrical grids.

However, Minister Pat McFadden will also say that “the United Kingdom and others in this room are watching Russia” when he speaks at a NATO summit in a few days.

Next week, McFadden, the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, will caution Britain’s friends that we must “not underestimate” the threat that Russia poses in its “hidden war.”

Putin will tell the military alliance that his soldiers “won’t think twice” about striking British companies because they have already struck UK energy infrastructure.

“Millions of people could have their lights turned off by Russia with a cyberattack. McFadden is expected to state, “It can shut down the power grids,” according to The Telegraph.

The plans for the cyberattack would be an effort to weaken allied states’ support for Ukraine.

A “destabilizing and debilitating” cyberwar might result from it; McFadden criticized the Kremlin for being “exceptionally aggressive and reckless” in this regard.

At the Cyber Defence Conference in Lancaster House, he will also say, “Be assured that the United Kingdom and everyone else in this room are keeping a close eye on Russia.”

“We are thwarting their attacks both in public and behind the scenes, and we are fully aware of what they are doing.

“He will not be successful.”

Russia’s obstructive cyberattack threat follows Ukraine’s previous week’s firing of Western long-range missiles deep into enemy territory.

The United States and the United Kingdom ultimately granted Kyiv authorization to fire the heavy weapons into Russia after more than two years of conflict and numerous requests.

Just a few days later, embattled Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky launched an amazing double-tap attack, unleashing British Storm Shadow missiles two days later and US-made ATACMS rockets first.

In response, Putin launched a medium-range intercontinental ballistic missile (IRBM), showering the city of Dnipro with a barrage of warheads.

In a conference with military chiefs, the deranged Vlad quickly declared: “We will continue these tests, including in combat conditions, depending on the situation and character of the security threats posted to Russia.”

“A stockpile of such systems ready for use” is what he added.
