British spies will tackle Russia’s cyber warfare hackers with new AI lab as Putin told ‘we know what you’re doing

A Cabinet Minister will announce today that British intelligence will use a new AI lab to outsmart Russian hackers in an effort to defeat Vladimir Putin’s cyber army.

Pat McFadden, the chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, will unveil eight million pounds in funds to strengthen Britain’s defenses against Russian hacktivists.

In order to better protect UK cyberspace, a new Laboratory for AI Security Research will bring together intelligence agencies and top specialists from around the world.

In order to keep Britain at the forefront of the AI weapons race, university professors will also collaborate with the Foreign Office and Five Eyes partners.

Mr. McFadden will say that the UK is already fending off Russian cyberattacks, both in public and behind the scenes, at the NATO Cyber Defense Conference in London.

“Cyber war is now a daily reality,” he would remark.
