Moment terrified families flee blazing plane down emergency slides after it burst into flames landing at resort

This is the moment when a burning jet exploded after landing at a resort, sending scared families running for their lives down the emergency slides.

The cabin rapidly filled with black smoke, causing panic and pandemonium as those on board reportedly started to suffocate.

Before flames began to whirl from ignited kerosene that had seeped onto the runway, the struck aircraft touched down at Antalya airport in Turkey.

Fearing that the Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft would explode, emergency evacuation slides were ordered, leaving all 95 passengers and crew members hurriedly hurrying to the departure locations.

According to one story, the Russian Azimuth Airlines plane fought against strong gusts overnight, causing the wing to clip the runway.

A door was reportedly busted down by a brave passenger after the crew attempted to pry it open as smoke began to fill the aircraft.

Fortunately, none of the 95 passengers were hurt.

“There was panic in the cabin, people started jumping up, trying to get their bags, putting them in the aisle,” said Evgeniya Lavrinenko, a TikTok influencer and one of the survivors.

Then, a sudden flash in each window indicated that the fire had erupted into flames.

After someone yelled that there were evacuation slides at the back of the aircraft—run back—there was smoke coming from behind.

Everyone was crying, including my kid, but fortunately, nobody died.

According to a statement from Turkey’s transportation ministry, the plane had departed from Sochi, Russia, hours earlier.

The plane, carrying 89 passengers and six crew members, landed with two huge explosions.

At 9:34 p.m. local time (6:34 p.m. GMT), the pilot called for help because many fires were beginning to spread.

A “rough landing” was reported by the airline as a result of the windy weather.

Fearing that the flaming debris might explode at any time, those on board hurried away from it.

After that, they had to wait for hours to get their luggage, and some travelers claimed that they had misplaced their passports and other possessions during the escape.

Pictures show firefighters battling to extinguish the fire that had consumed the plane’s lower section and leaving it without any burn scars.

According to Telegram channel VChK-OGPU, the plane is thought to be so badly damaged that it cannot be repaired.

As officials evacuated the seven-year-old flaming jet, airport arrivals were also temporarily halted.

Rosaviatsiya, Russia’s Federal Aviation Authority, reports that they are currently looking into what caused the fire.
