Noah Gray is on a Travis Kelce trajectory with his NFL stats and is perfectly placed to take over at Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs don’t have many concerns, but Travis Kelce’s tenure may be coming to an end soon.

Though the Chiefs already have a plan to replace him, Kelce is undoubtedly one of the best tight ends of all time.

The second tight end on the Chiefs depth chart is doing in a lot of work to make up for Kelce’s poor 2024 season.

The Chiefs’ fourth-year tight end, Noah Gray, is breaking all previous records this season and demonstrating his potential as a future member of the squad.

He has been Kelce’s silent killer for the past few years, but in the last two weeks, he has made a major splash and announced himself to the NFL.

Gray caught four catches for two touchdowns and 66 yards in Sunday’s Chiefs victory over the Carolina Panthers.

Gray caught four catches for 23 yards and two touchdowns against the Buffalo Bills the week before.

Gray’s season totals of 315 yards and four touchdowns, which surpasses many of the Chiefs offense’s weapons, were boosted by those two weeks.

Additionally, it is surpassing Kelce, who has two touchdowns to Gray’s four.

With 569 yards, Kelce is ahead of Gray, but he also has 40 more receptions.

Gray would probably step up and take those targets if Kelce weren’t in the Chiefs offense, possibly outperforming him in that regard.
