Doomed scuba yacht is Egyptian dive firm’s THIRD boat sinking in three years with 7 still missing & 4 dead
In the past three years, the dive company that rented the tragic Egyptian yacht that killed four people has also been implicated in two other significant accidents.
The five-day voyage that resulted in the capsize of the Sea Story boat on Monday morning involved Dive Pro Liveaboard, a well-known adventure outfit in the Red Sea.
Two prior safety incidents involving the same corporation have surfaced as search teams continue to look for the remaining seven individuals who are still missing on board the ship.
Dive Pro Liveaboard was the primary operator of the Scuba Scene yacht in April 2022 when it unexpectedly caught fire in the Red Sea.
Three diving guides, fourteen crew members, and nineteen visitors were all compelled to leave the burning boat.
The tourist’s possessions were lost to the water forever, and the ship was observed gradually sinking to the ocean floor.

In the event of an emergency, thirty-one passengers on the luxury sailboat were forced to leave.
According to witnesses, a fire broke out in the kitchen area, waking the visitors with the smell of smoke.
Within ten minutes of the initial flames showing, the crew ordered everyone off the boat as it quickly spread throughout the vessel.
After failing to return to dry land with the other visitors, a 50-year-old German visitor was reported missing.
According to the Telegraph, authorities later declared her dead.
Later, a number of the shook visitors voiced their displeasure with the safety procedures.
They said there weren’t enough life jackets on the boat and that the fire and smoke alarms weren’t functioning.
The guests claimed that despite the obvious danger they perceived, no emergency flare was ever signaled.
The corporation had simply acquired Sea Legend to take the position of the defunct Scuba Scene.
