One of FBI’s most wanted ‘terrorists’ arrested in Wales after being hunted for more than 20 years over bombings

Following a more than two-decade manhunt, one of the FBI’s most sought “terrorists” was apprehended in Wales.

Following two explosions in San Francisco in 2003, Daniel Andreas San Diego, 46, was added to the list.

In August of that year, two bombs destroyed a biotech company, and a month later, a nail bomb destroyed a nutrition company.

Yesterday, National Crime Agency officers nabbed San Diego in Conwy.

He was said to have been caught at a house in the country that was next to a wooded area.

San Diego began the extradition procedure today by appearing at Westminster Magistrates’ Court.

“Animal rights extremist groups” are connected to San Diego, a former IT worker, according to the FBI.

A $250,000 (190,000) reward had been offered by the government for information that resulted in his arrest.

The FBI claimed on its website that San Diego has a weapon and the phrase “It only takes a spark” tattooed on his chest.
