The Talk host Sheryl Underwood sits alone on her phone on ‘tense’ show set as co-hosts laugh and chat without her
THE TALK S According to a source who spoke to The U.S. Sun, Sheryl Underwood has been spotted sitting alone herself on the tense set of the show as her co-hosts socialize and joke around.
The reported split among the group occurs at a poignant moment since the daytime program will end permanently in three weeks, with its final episode airing on December 20.
Tension seems to be building between Sheryl, 61, co-hosts Akbar Gbajabiamila, Amanda Kloots, Natalie Morales, and Jerry O. Connell as the Talk nears its last episodes.
According to a show insider, veteran actor Jerry, 50, is undoubtedly the most well-liked member of the group by both the crew and the audience.
He strolls about and chats with everyone in between takes, and they all adore him. Everyone in the cast, crew, and audience adores Jerry.
No one on set has ever said anything negative about him, and you won’t find a more personable guy.

Sometimes he joins the other hosts, and they all chat and joke around with each other.
According to the insider, Sheryl is occasionally included but frequently leaves the lighter chats to go backstage alone.
They went on to say that Sheryl frequently sits by herself, texting on her phone and keeping to herself when the entire cast is on set and performing, while the others get up to chat.
The atmosphere is really enjoyable when Jerry is the only one out and about. Both the crew and the on-camera cast became visibly more nervous after Sheryl came out.
There’s just a distinct vibe, and everyone becomes more serious as well. It’s similar to when the principal is in the classroom and everyone is expected to behave well and not be able to unwind.
A representative for The Talk was contacted by The U.S. Sun for comment.
According to a source who spoke to The U.S. Sun in 2021, Sheryl was accused of mistreating producers, indicating that the alleged friction has been for a long time.
According to the insider, Sheryl won’t let producers talk to her directly. Sheryl’s personal producer must be consulted if any of the producers have inquiries concerning their portions.
She responds to all inquiries and responses pertaining to Sheryl and relays them to each producer separately.
“Sheryl made this arrangement after discovering that employees were complaining to HR about how cruel and aggressive she was to deal with.
Sheryl made the decision to prohibit anyone from interacting with her directly in order to defend herself against any future claims. Since nobody wants to deal with Sheryl, the system functions as intended.
According to the source, staff members are unsure of what to anticipate while interacting with her.
