Amazon Prime ‘down’ as NFL viewers complain of outage before Kansas City Chiefs Black Friday game

According to user complaints, there appeared to be an outage of Amazon Prime Video on Friday.

It happened minutes before a live NFL game was scheduled to be shown by the streaming behemoths.

Around 2:00 PM ET, DownDetectors reported a surge in outage reports.

At Arrowhead Stadium, Amazon was broadcasting the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Las Vegas Raiders game.

Thursday Night Football in the NFL is often televised by the network.

However, this week they were given their own unique holiday location, with free-to-air television airing all of the Thanksgiving games on Thursday.
