NFL fans claim Ravens kicker Justin Tucker ‘hasn’t been the same’ since Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce moment

NFL fans think a moment with Travis Kelce last season is the reason behind Justin Tucker’s problems as a kicker for the Baltimore Ravens.

In Week 13, Tucker’s poor season continued when the Ravens lost to the Philadelphia Eagles 24-19.

Tucker set a new career record of eight misses on Sunday, missing three kicks.

In the third quarter of the game, the seven-time Pro Bowl kicker missed two field goals and an extra point.

Since his altercation with Kelce prior to the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Ravens 2023-24 AFCC championship game, Tucker has reportedly struggled, according to NFL fans.

Tucker was in Kansas City’s assigned warmup area, performing his pregame stretching and kicking routine.

Tucker’s equipment was thrown away by Kelce to give his quarterback Patrick Mahomes space to prepare for the playoff match after neither side made any moves.

The 35-year-old Tucker has had his worst season in his 13 league seasons, despite making his only field goal attempt and extra point in the final 17-10 loss.

“The Chiefs devil magic is real because Justin Tucker hasn t been the same since [the Kelce incident],” someone said.

“My man needed to get baptized after that moment,” someone else commented.

“Ever since Kelce threw his little place holder it’s been downhill” added another.

According to Ravens head coach John Harbaugh, Tucker is “definitely capable of making every kick…. Nobody wants to make those kicks more than Justin.” Harbaugh made this statement on Sunday after the game.

With the Ravens leading 9-0, the first missed kick occurred on an extra point in the first quarter.

The field goal post was struck by the kick.

After that, the Eagles scored 14 points in a row.

Tucker missed two field goals in the third quarter: one from 47 yards out and another from 53 yards out on the next drive.

With 1:31 remaining in the third quarter, the Ravens were behind 19–14 when the final try went wide right.

As the Ravens prepare for their bye week next week, Tucker will have time to recover his right leg and mind.

After the game, Harbaugh informed reporters that the team will have most of the week off.
