Fisherman mauled by shark in bloody attack that left him with bites on both his arms before being rescued by police boat

A fisherman suffered significant bleeding from both arms after being seriously mauled by a shark.

The 60-year-old guy was brutalized by the beast on Monday while fishing close to Curtis Island in Gladstone, Australia.

At approximately 8.25 a.m., he was attacked and suffered severe cuts to his hand and both arms.

As paramedics raced to the scene, shocked onlookers hurried to administer CPR to the injured man.

In order to bring the man to the hospital in a stable state, this was essential.

“We don’t respond to these very often, but when we do, it’s a unique incident that requires us to work with other services to bring the patient to the hospital in a timely manner,” stated Danielle Martin, Acting Officer in Charge Gladstone Station.

“We were lucky in this case as shark bites can be significant but we were able to transport him with minor to moderate injuries on this occasion.”

In a statement, a Fisheries Queensland spokeswoman stated, “Our thoughts are with the injured man and anyone who witnessed the incident, as well as those who assisted at the scene.”

The man’s condition was stable when he was taken to Gladstone Hospital.

It is unknown what the shark survivor’s current condition is and his identity has not been made public.

The capital and largest city of Queensland, Brisbane, is located 568 kilometers north of Curtis Island.

Divers found their way back The body of 16-year-old Jahmari Reid was ruthlessly mutilated.

Following Jahmari’s death, a group of fishermen, including Christopher Reynolds, went out to kill the shark.

“All of the fishermen went out there and, as they were diving to take him up, they saw the big shark,” he told the Jamaica Observer.

“They shot at him but they didn t get him.”

In order to safeguard any future swimmers, the fisherman is adamant that the killer shark be located.

Divers brought the body back to shore while Michael Reid, Jahmari’s distraught father, stood on the beach.

“I can’t believe that he went to sea by himself and that’s what happened,” the retired cab driver remarked. I’m sorry to hear that. I feel awful.

Michael claims that prior to the accident, he had cautioned his son about the risks of spearfishing by himself.
