NFL makes final punishment decision on Anthony Richardson after Colts quarterback was cited for brutal helmet hit
Anthony Richardson received a hefty fine from the NFL for a hit.
A five-figure fine has been imposed on the Indianapolis Colts quarterback for what the NFL considered to be an improper behavior.
During his Week 12 matchup with the Detroit Lions, Richardson was given a citation for lowering his helmet while fumbling for the ball.
The league fined him for making helmet-to-helmet contact with a Lions player during that run.
Officially, Richardson was fined $22,511 for using excessive force against Brian Branch.
