Terry Bradshaw sends clear message to Rob Gronkowski and tells him ‘not so fast’ during fiery NFL MVP debate
In a segment, Terry Bradshaw and Rob Gronkowski argued over who should win the NFL MVP award this season.
In Week 13 of Fox NFL Sunday, Bradshaw, Michael Strahan, and Rob Gronkowski participated in the conversation.
Prior to the Philadelphia Eagles vs. Baltimore Ravens game on Sunday, Gronkowski expressed his opinion that two-time MVP Lamar Jackson should be given the title once more.
The Ravens have won eight of their first 12 games this season thanks in part to Jackson.
“I know what it looks like because I’ve played with a quarterback (Tom Brady) who has won several MVP awards. And it appears to be Lamar Jackson, the man from Baltimore. “He is currently the league’s most entertaining quarterback,” Gronkowski remarked.
“He makes guys miss left and right and always dazzles when he has the ball in his hands.”

The legendary tight end for the New England Patriots also mentioned that, in spite of Baltimore’s run-first philosophy, Jackson continued to lead the league in throwing yards.
“In terms of passing yards, he is the best. He questioned Bradshaw, “You got that baby?” “That is number one in Spanish, Terry.”
“I don’t think so, not that fast Gronk!” was Bradshaw’s response to Gronk as a result.
The legendary quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers then argued for Derrick Henry, the standout running back for the Ravens.
“Derrick Henry is my boy… He is 6-foot-2, 245, 250, and has a distinctive running technique that is a little more erect. He is also quite fast! “He’s really strong,” Bradshaw remarked.

Additionally, he is playing behind a Baltimore offensive line that is inferior to Philadelphia’s.
“. …The difference that you’re seeing at Baltimore – even though they’ve lost four games – is the fact this guy has made a difference in their quarterback, their offensive setup, and they’re doing exactly what John (Harbaugh) wants to do.”
Bradshaw likened Henry, who came to Baltimore in the offseason, to Eagles running back Saquon Barkley, who was initially named the league’s MVP by New York Giants legend Strahan.
“He leads the NFL in both yards and scrimmage and rushing, period,” Strahan stated.
He went on to say that Barkley has “carried” the Eagles this season and has helped a team “that was in shambles” the previous season.
Before Sunday’s matchup with the Baltimore Ravens, Barkley, who joined the Eagles in the summer, has made a significant contribution to the team’s 9-2 record.
The Eagles finished 11-6 and 10-1 the previous season before falling to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the opening round of the playoffs.
The Philadelphia team led by Barkley would defeat the Ravens 24–19 on the road.
Henry gained 82 yards on 19 rush attempts, while the 27-year-old gained 107 rushing yards on 23 carries.

With 1,766 yards from scrimmage, Barkley has risen to the second spot in the MVP betting odds, trailing only Josh Allen, the preferred Buffalo Bills quarterback, who has 20 touchdowns and four interceptions.
Since Adrian Peterson’s MVP victory in the 2012 season, no running back has taken home the honor.
