Trump vows there will be ‘hell to pay in the Middle East’ if Hamas hostages are not released by the time he takes office
Hamas has been given a deadline by Donald Trump to free the hostages before he takes office.
There will be “all hell to pay” in the Middle East, the president-elect added, echoing the unusual threat.
Before he even entered office, Trump took to Truth Social to express his “action” on the matter.
He stated: “Everybody is talking about the hostages who are being held so violently, inhumanely, and against the will of the entire World, in the Middle East – But it s all talk, and no action!”
Trump extended his warning, but he did not specify what he would do if the hostages were not freed by that time.
He continued: “Please let this TRUTH serve to represent that if the hostages are not released prior to January 20, 2025, the date that I proudly assume Office as President of the United States, there will be ALL HELL TO PAY in the Middle East.”

Additionally, he threatened “those in charge who perpetrated these atrocities against Humanity.”
Neither Hamas nor any other government terror group holding hostages were mentioned by the president-elect.
Of the 251 hostages that were kidnapped and transported into Gaza, 63 are thought to remain in custody.
Three bodies have been detained in Gaza, and four Americans are believed to be among the survivors.
Trump’s threat was made just hours after the Israeli government announced that Omer Neutra, a hostage and dual US-Israeli citizen, had died.
The rapid release of those in captivity was required by Trump’s vehement threats.
“Those who are accountable will be hit more severely than anyone has ever been in the lengthy and illustrious history of the United States of America,” he continued.
“RELEASE THE HOSTAGES NOW!”
