WNBA announce 2025 season schedule with Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese given top billing to continue rivalry
The 2025 WNBA season is planned out in detail and prepared to expand on this year’s achievements.

The 2025 regular season will begin on Friday, May 16, and end on Thursday, September 11, the league said Monday.

On opening day, the WNBA championships runner-up Minnesota Lynx will play the No. 1 pick, the Dallas Wings.
Golden State’s first-ever home game against the Los Angeles Sparks comes after that game.

On opening night, the Atlanta Dream will also play the Washington Mystics.
This season, each squad will play 44 games—22 at home and 22 away. This is an increase from the 2024 season’s total of 40 games.
Although the team’s TV schedules are still pending, it is anticipated that Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark will continue to take up the majority of the prime-time hours.
