Princess Kate pays touching tribute to late Queen with necklace as she returns to work to meet Qatar’s royal family

PRINCESS As she goes back to work, Kate has paid a heartfelt homage to the late Queen.

When the Princess of Wales visited with Qatar’s royal family on Tuesday, she wore one of her pearl and diamond necklaces as a charming homage to Elizabeth II.

Kate made the sentimental choice to wear the jewelry with her ensemble for the third time.

The second occasion was at her funeral, when she wore it in remembrance of Queen Elizabeth.

Along with a pair of matching pearl drop earrings that were also part of The Queen’s collection, Kate first wore the stunning choker to Prince Philip’s funeral in 2021.

There are four pearl and diamond strands in the choker-style necklace.

The Queen was seen wearing the opulent piece on several occasions, notably at state banquets.

The Queen donated the four-strand choker to Princess Diana for a state banquet in the Netherlands in 1982, even though she frequently wore the costly necklace during the 1980s.

Additionally, Kate honored the late Queen Elizabeth today by welcoming Amir Sheikh Tamim of Qatar and his spouse, Sheikha Jawaher, to the UK for a two-day state visit.

She was shown wearing the neckpiece with pride, her devoted spouse Wills by her side.

The mother of three also wore a full burgundy ensemble, including a handbag, boots, long coat, and hat.

While his wife wore a nice beige floor-length coat, William wore a burgundy tie that matched the Amir’s.

After greeting the newlyweds at their home, the Prince and Princess of Wales accompanied the Amir and Sheikha Jawaher to Horse Guards Parade for a formal welcome with the King.

Presentations were made, the Guard of Honor delivered a royal salute, and the national anthem of Qatar was performed during the welcome ceremony.

Following that, Qatari royals and the King, Prince, and Princess of Wales participated in a carriage parade to Buckingham Palace along the Mall.

In the Australian carriage, Prince William and Princess Kate accompanied the Prime Minister and Qatari royals.

Kate will examine the valuable Qatari artwork on display and join them for a private lunch at Buckingham Palace.

Tonight, the King and the Amir will give remarks at the opulent State Banquet, which she will not be attending.

The Princess of Wales will perform her Together At Christmas concert in Westminster Abbey on Friday of this week.

Along with other royal family members, she will be accompanied by Prince William, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis, and their son, Prince George.
