Survivor 47 recap: Who was voted off in Operation Italy and when is the finale?

What happened with Operation: Italy in Survivor 47

After winning the Reward Challenge in Survivor 47’s episode 12, Sam decided to take Genevieve and Andy to the Sanctuary.

This followed the strenuous task in which competitors had to throw balls and navigate an obstacle course.

As a result of Operation Italy, they were able to enjoy a Mediterranean feast and even obtained letters from their loved ones.

Andy really saved their game by throwing them a lifeline, so he went up to them with the plan of making the other Underdogs think Genevieve had an idol.

Andy was able to turn against the alliance and remove Rachel by doing this in order to split the vote.

The scheme started when Genevieve convinced Teeny that she was safe by using Sam’s expired Gata Idol.

However, after Rachel gained immunity, Sam, Genevieve, and Andy had to change their focus to Caroline Vidmar, a 27-year-old Chicago strategy consultant.

Sue was then seen stating to Caroline that she would be prepared to save her by using her idol.

However, Genevieve refused to pay her phony idol, and Caroline was voted off, so Operation: Italy was abandoned.

All of this took place in front of the jury, who seemed to grasp Andy’s strategy right away.

When is the finale of Survivor 47?

The finales ran for three hours on a single night prior to season 47.

However, the Survivor 47 finale will be broadcast in two distinct two-hour episodes spaced out over two weeks rather than in a single program.

December 11 from 8 to 10 p.m. ET is when part one will air, and December 18 from 8 to 10 p.m. ET is when part two will air.

As soon as the winner is crowned, Jeff Probst will host an aftershow that will be shot with the winner, other finalists, and the jury.

Mamanuca Islands, Fiji, where the show has been taped for the last 15 seasons, will host the reunion.

Only six contestants remain to compete for the title of Sole Survivor and the enticing $1 million prize.

Who is in the finale of Survivor 47?

Following the most recent episode, Survivor 47’s final six players were made public.

The final six, which includes Andy Rueda, Rachel Lamont, Sam Phalen, Sue Smey, Teeny Chirichillo, and Genevieve Mushaluk, are all vying for the title of Sole Survivor and the grand prize.

Andy Rueda

Andy is a Buffalo, New York-based AI research assistant who is 31 years old.

It was him who persuaded the other competitors to join his cunning Operation: Italy scheme.

Viewers can see how intelligent Andy is about the game, and at first he claimed to try to “charm and disarm” other players.

At the moment, The Survivor calls Brooklyn, New York, home.

Rachel Lamont

Rachel, a 34-year-old graphic designer, hails from Dexter, Michigan.

When she finally learned about the show, she felt compelled to try out.

As an alternate, Rachel was transported out to Fiji for Season 46 of the show, but she never appeared.

Now that she’s in the last six, though, she wants to win the $1 million prize.

Sam Phalen

Sam, a beat reporter for the Tennessee Titans, is 24 years old.

He feels that because of the fierce competition in the game, his love of sports prepared him well.

Although Sam currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee, his hometown is Schaumburg, Illinois.

Sue Smey

Sue Smey, a 59-year-old proprietor of a flight school, changed careers later in life and became a pilot.

Sue, the oldest castaway candidate from season 47, wanted to appear “ditzy” in order to deceive her other competitors.

She has even referred to herself as the female Tony Vlachos, demonstrating her confidence in her capacity to prevail.

At the moment, Sue resides in New York’s Putnam Valley.

Teeny Chirichillo

Teeny, a twenty-four-year-old Survivor superfan, quit their job to participate.

They believe that their ability to build relationships will win them the grand prize and earn them the title of Sole Survivor.

Teeny lives in their birthplace of Manahawkin, New Jersey, and works as a freelance writer. Prior to quitting, they were a tech consultant.

Genevieve Mushaluk

After masterminding two significant blindsides in the 47th season, corporate lawyer Genevieve Mushaluk is in the final six.

Genevieve, a 33-year-old Canadian from Winnipeg, Manitoba, first intended to deceive her fellow survivors by claiming to have a “boring” job.

She is renowned for being a merciless player who never compromises her skills to assist others.

How does Survivor work?

The popular Swedish television series Expedition Robinson served as the inspiration for Survivor, which debuted on May 31, 2000.

Making it to the end to win $1 million is the goal of the game, which involves outperforming rivals through a variety of votes and tasks on the remote island.

The contestants are divided into tribes and must cooperate to meet their basic needs, which include food and shelter.

The tribes narrow down the group by sending home one unlucky contestant each week.

The last players unite as one to complete the game as the tribes continue to diminish in size.
