Princess Kate invites family of ‘brave’ photographer who died aged 17 to her Xmas carol concert after meeting at Windsor

PRINCESS Kate has extended an invitation to the Christmas carol concert to the family of a photographer who passed away from cancer at the age of 17.

On November 27, Liz Hatton tragically died at her home in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.

After being asked to take photos of the Prince of Wales at an investiture, Hatton was seen being embraced by Kate at Windsor Castle in October.

Many people were moved by the picture of the couple cuddling, and Kate praised the youngster for motivating her and her husband William with her courage and inventiveness.

The Princess of Wales also made her professional comeback at the occasion, following her personal cancer fight this year.

As she begins her slow return to public duties after her cancer treatment, Kate is scheduled to host her traditional Christmas carol service.

The order of service, which includes a cover image by artist Charlie Mackesy, includes her message.
