Lowe’s confirms every store will shut down for the entire day in weeks forcing shoppers to make other plans
As part of a nationwide shopping slowdown, LOWE’S is preparing to implement widespread closures for a single day in a few weeks.
Because all 1,700 Lowe’s stores will be closed for 24 hours, shoppers looking for home improvement products will need to make advance plans.
Millions of Americans are rushing to buy all of their Christmas presents, but as stores close nationwide, the holiday shopping frenzy will come to a sudden stop.
Several big businesses, including Lowe’s, intend to take part in the Christmas Day retail blackout.
The home improvement retailer will close its thousands of sites across the United States on December 25 in keeping with its long-standing custom to “give customers and associates time to celebrate with their loved ones,” according to Lowe’s.
Additionally, the store closes nationally on Easter Sunday and Thanksgiving.

Despite closing its stores on Christmas Day, Lowe’s is making efforts to ensure that customers have a flawless holiday shopping experience.
For instance, the site will provide weekly limited-time discounts throughout December, allowing customers to find fantastic gifts and save money well beyond Black Friday.
Additionally, Lowe’s is providing a number of practical services to promote easy holiday preparation.
In some zip codes, customers can take advantage of same-day delivery. Orders for in-stock items placed by 2:00 PM should be delivered by 8:00 PM.
Customers can escape the hassle of in-store shopping and standing in line by using Lowe’s buy online and pick up in-store service.
Additionally, the business guarantees the lowest pricing. Lowe’s will match any lower price that consumers discover at another retailer for the same item.
Bill Boltz, executive vice president of merchandising, stated, “Lowe’s is committed to offering exceptional value and performance from the brands our customers know and trust for all of their home improvement needs this season.”
“Our goal is to ensure we conveniently offer everything they need to create memorable holiday experiences.”

Home Depot, a competitor of Lowe’s, will also be closed on Christmas, so shoppers looking to get holiday hardware deals won’t have much luck there either.
Along with many other stores, the two home improvement chains are scheduled to close on December 25.
