Russia deploying nuclear missiles to Nato’s doorstep as Putin & his crony Lukashenko brag about their ‘big red buttons’
In a terrifying jab at the West, Russia plans to launch Oreshnik hypersonic missiles that can carry nuclear weapons right at NATO’s doorstep.
It comes as a security pact agreed today by Vladimir Putin and his friend Alexander Lukashenko completes the deployment of Russian tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus, Moscow’s closest ally.
In the midst of tensions between Moscow and the West, the pact was signed after Russia’s nuclear doctrine was amended to include Belarus under its nuclear umbrella for the first time.
It essentially grants Lukashenko authority over the possible use of tactical nuclear weapons that Russia has sent to Belarus in the event of attack.
“I’m sure that the treaty will ensure the security of Russia and Belarus,” Putin stated in a televised statement.
Following the signing of the security agreement, Lukashenko requested that his friend Putin utilize the Oreshnik IRBM, which Russia first deployed against Ukraine last month.

“I would like to publicly request that you send new weaponry systems, mainly Oreshnik, to Belarus,” he stated. Some heads will be calmed by it.
In response, Putin stated that the recently created missiles might be sent to Belarus as early as next year. He also stated that although they would still be under Russian control, Moscow would let Belarus choose the targets.
Lukashenko promised that he would not be consulted if Russian nuclear weapons were placed on Belarusian soil.
but issued a warning that Belarus will employ them “if need be”
The head of Belarus’ Security Council, Aleksandr Volfovich, boasted about the weaponry, claiming that Russia and Belarus each have large red buttons.
“Every president has his own nuclear briefcase, his own suitcase, and his own red button,” Volfovich stated.
In terms of defending their own country and sovereignty, each of the two states’ leaders has specific duties, rights, and responsibilities.
Only the president of Belarus is authorized to employ weapons that are on Belarusian soil. Additionally, only the Russian president has the authority to use and command the weapons, which are on Russian soil.
Putin’s remarks on Russia-belarus security treaty
An international treaty on security guarantees under the Union State framework will be signed today. It lays out reciprocal commitments to defend the integrity and inviolability of the Union State’s external border and territory, as well as the sovereignty, independence, and constitutional order of Belarus and Russia.
This entails employing every force and resource at hand. This specifically refers to Russian tactical nuclear weapons that have been placed on Republic of Belarusian soil at the president of Belarus’s request.
After striking the city of Dnipro in central Ukraine with the nuclear-capable weapon last month, emotions in the nearly three-year-old conflict skyrocketed.
In a deranged act of nuclear brinkmanship, the tyrant disclosed that he had launched a new type of ballistic missile against Ukraine, sending it hurtling down from the edge of space.
It was a direct reaction to Ukraine’s employment of British Storm Shadow and American-made ATACMS missiles.
The new missile, according to experts, can hit targets up to 5,500 kilometers (3,400 miles) distant and travels at ten times the speed of sound.
Though smaller than the strategic nuclear weapons that can destroy entire cities, tactical nuclear weapons are still incredibly destructive and are made for use on the battlefield.
Putin has also promised to significantly expand his terrifying Oreshnik missile stockpile.
In his most recent meandering address, the Russian despot boasted joyfully about his new hypersonic war toy, threatening Volodymyr Zelensky directly and vowing to crush his foes.
During the Kremlin’s push in Ukraine, Belarus and Moscow, its closest ally, increased their military cooperation.
In February 2022, Lukashenko, who has controlled Belarus for over 30 years and has depended on Russian assistance and subsidies, gave Russia permission to send troops into Ukraine using his nation’s boundaries.
In 2023, Russia had previously placed tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus.
