Watch moment gigantic monster python is seen swimming away in flood waters in Thailand after ‘eating dog’

After devouring a dog, a 20-foot monster was seen swimming down a road in this horrifying scene.

Watch as the beast, its enormous inflated belly popping high in the air, wriggles against the tide in Thailand’s deep floodwaters.

Litter and debris are seen floating past the enormous snake as it sways on the surface of muddy floodwater in the widely shared video.

Although its torso has a big bulge, its enormous head is hidden and underwater.

The snake seems to be the cause of the missing hens that the neighbors had noted.

There were even rumors that the snake’s most recent meal was an entire dog.

After intense rains left the ground soaked, a villager in the southern Thai province of Pattani saw the enormous serpent.

Mohammad Sobri Abdulrahman, a local, stated: My neighbors informed me that the snake had been consuming their hens, which is why they were going missing.

It may have been stuck where we originally observed it because it had nowhere to move when the area flooded.

Two days later, when Mohammad went back to the location, the enormous serpent seemed to have died.

It is shown in the second segment of the film floating still, belly up, in the brown water close to a drain pipe hole.

Its stomach appears to be swollen with gas and is still protruding.

It has been determined that the monstrous reptile is a reticulated python, which is found all over South-East Asia.

“It’s a reticulated python belly up, which means it’s either dead or in deep distress,” one X user wrote in a comment on the video. It’s a bad thing.

Another expressed less empathy for the snake: I just crossed Thailand off my list of places to visit.

That abdominal bulge is also remarkably human-shaped, which alarmed a third spectator, who assumed the worst!

What is a reticulated python?

The longest snake in the world is thought to be the reticulated python.

The longest snake in the world is thought to be the reticulated python.

32 feet, or over 10 meters, was the longest reticulated python ever measured. Compared to the average giraffe, that is longer.

It is also among the world’s three heaviest snake species.

Southeast Asia, which includes Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, India, and Borneo, is home to the python.

At least two recorded instances of reticulated pythons consuming humans have occurred in Indonesia. In March 2017 and June 2018, respectively.

The dead human bodies were visible when the 23-foot-long snakes opened up after being killed.

Rodents, pigs, civets, bearcats, and even primates are among the prey of the snakes.

The king cobra, which inhabits many of the same areas as the reticulated python, is its primary predator.

One of the biggest snake species in the world, the reticulated python may even consume people.

The monsoon season, which lasts from September to November in Thailand and its neighboring nations, is characterized by high temperatures and torrential rains.
