New photos of Brian Thompson’s ‘assassin’ released as cops reveal ‘we know his name’ & divers comb Central Park lake
Two more images of the alleged shooter who killed Brian Thompson, the CEO of UnitedHealthcare, have surfaced.
On Wednesday morning, the 50-year-old was shot at close range on the sidewalk outside the New York Hilton in what has been described as a “brazen and targeted attack.”
New photos of the man wanted for interrogation have been made public by the NYPD as the manhunt for the murderer enters its fifth day.
Only two pictures of the suspect’s entire face taken just days prior to the shooting were previously made public.
The latest images depict a man gazing over the partition of what looks to be a New York City taxi while sporting a blue medical mask and a black sweatshirt.
The man is on the sidewalk in the second picture, which was taken from inside a car.

Once more, he is dressed in a black puffer jacket, a hood over his head, and a face mask.
The images that were made public on Saturday are expected to provide fresh information to the police, who have stated that they are getting closer to the alleged murderer.
Over the weekend, New York Mayor Eric Adams announced that the police now have a name for the person they are looking for in connection with the shooting and that the “net is tightening.”
The suspect is being warned because divers have been seen in Central Park Lake while they continue to look for evidence to support their case.
According to the Daily Mail, investigators were seen in the water on Saturday afternoon close to the Bethesda Fountain.
Less than a mile and a half from the location of another crucial piece of evidence discovered next to the park’s carousel, divers were searching the region.
Investigators have made a number of breakthroughs in the investigation in the just 48 hours.
Police searched Central Park and discovered what they thought was the shooter’s rucksack jammed between two rocks close to the carousel. They also looked into a burner phone that they believe belonged to the suspect.
The suspect is thought to have left the city an hour after the murder on a bus bound for Atlanta, according to Fox News, and a new clue regarding his bus trip was also made public on Saturday.
