Ukraine deploys drone equipped with MACHINE GUN to attack Russian troops for the first time
During a conflict in Ukraine, Russian troops were ambushed for the first time using a drone armed with a machine gun.
During an operation last month, Ukrainian military equipped a Wild Hornets drone with an AK-47 assault rifle and fired on Russian forces.
In the Velyka Novosilka of Donetsk area of eastern Ukraine, the successful attack prompted terrified Russian soldiers to escape the battlefield and take refuge in a nearby woodland.
After an unsuccessful strike, the drone is shown on camera firing at Russian forces who are sheltering in a forest line.
Russian soldiers fired back, repeatedly hitting the machine gun drone.
However, sources state that the drone continued to fly and target Russian forces in spite of some damage.

Additionally, the video evidence demonstrates that the drone could manage the recoil of the assault rifle during burst firing, enabling the operator to fire accurate shots.
According to Kiev, the Bulava drone unit of the Ukrainian Army built the machine gun, which is said to be the first time an unmanned aerial vehicle has been fitted with one.
The Queen of Hornet, another drone that the Bulava squad has effectively utilized in combat, has a grenade launcher fitted on it.
The Bulava unit is at the forefront of drone warfare innovation and is a member of Ukraine’s 3rd Mechanized Battalion of the Separate Presidential Brigade.
The drone, according to former Army intelligence officer Colonel Philip Ingram, showed how creative the Ukrainian military had grown during the conflict with Russia.
