Terrifying moment girl, 13, is left dangling 60ft in air after plunging from Ferris wheel as onlookers heard screaming

A teenage girl fell out of a Ferris wheel’s pod and was left hanging 60 feet in the air.

The 13-year-old is seen frantically clutching on the metal structure in the terrifying video, while spectators can be heard yelling.

The girl resides in the village of Rekehti in the Indian state of Pradesh, where the incident happened on December 4.

As ride operators thought out how to save her, the girl had to either sustain her entire body weight or drop to her death.

Although the precise pod she fell from is unknown, her pod was close to its highest point when she did so since the section of metal she was clinging to was getting closer to the top of the ride.

However, the wheel only went in one direction, so the adolescent had to ascend much higher before rescuers could get her down.

While other riders observed from their pods, the girl obeyed commands that were yelled at her.

Holding the bar above her with both hands, she slowly repositioned herself on the wheel, turning to face its center.

Her feet, meanwhile, were on the wires underneath.

The wheel started to rotate as a guy climbed it, and the girl remained stretched out as she soared higher and higher into the air without any help.

But once she got to the top, the really scary part happened.

The wheel turned the child upside down, forcing her to plummet while bearing her entire weight on her upper body in order to reach safety.

When the weight became too much for her upper body, her legs began to slide out of their resting position.

The wheel began to turn more quickly at this time in a last-ditch attempt to simply get her down.

However, the girl found it even more difficult to hold on due to the wheel’s increased momentum, and as she got closer to the bottom, her legs started to flail.

Fortunately, she was transported to safety because bystanders were prepared to seize her as soon as she got within reach.

A unexpected jolt during the Ferris wheel ride is said to have caused the girl to fall from her pod.

Although the wheel operators lacked the necessary permissions for the ride, officials subsequently verified that the girl was uninjured.

The ride’s ability to function during the fair is now being investigated.

Only a few weeks have passed since a guy made a potentially life-saving jump from a moving roller coaster.

The safety harness fell loose only seconds before riders descended a massive drop, and the man was seen jumping out of his seat in a video taken at Phoenix, Arizona’s Castles N Coasters amusement park.
