Toddler, 2, mauled to death by man-eating leopard while playing in his garden in India

While playing in his backyard, a toddler was mauled to death by a leopard.

According to local accounts, the beast cat sadly killed two-year-old Hasnain Nisar in Sharhama hamlet in Mawar, India.

As soon as the locals saw the toddler in a pool of blood, they acted quickly to get the injured child to the hospital.

However, the small youngster unfortunately passed away from his injuries in spite of the greatest efforts of medical personnel.

The horrifying event highlights the continuous problem of confrontation between people and wildlife in the border area.

It follows recent instances in which leopards were apprehended in the same region.

More than six wildlife assaults have been reported in the Mawer area in recent months, with many people injured.

It makes sense that locals are annoyed by the persistence of wild animals in their neighborhood despite the efforts of wildlife officials.

Many people think that deforestation and habitat devastation are forcing wildlife into residential areas, endangering human lives.

Sheikh Khurshid, a member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) Langate, responded to this tragedy by visiting the spot and expressing his profound sadness.

Sheikh called on wildlife officials to step up their efforts to apprehend the offending animals and stop additional deaths.

“During this time of great sadness, my deepest sympathies are with the bereaved family. Wildlife officials must take immediate action to protect our local residents,” Sheikh Khurshid said.

Given the recent wave of wildlife attacks, the countryside is naturally on edge and is demanding quick action to address this urgent problem and stop more fatalities.

It follows the atiger’s horrific attack on a zoo keeper who had gotten inside the cage and been bitten on the head.

The 52-year-old zookeeper from Pitesti Zoo, which is located 60 miles from Bucharest, Romania, was brutally mauled this morning and killed in a matter of agonizing minutes.

The keeper reportedly disregarded security protocols and went inside the cage when it was too risky to do so.

According to Romanian media, the caretaker allegedly disregarded a basic safety protocol that mandates tigers be kept entirely far from the access area when introducing the food.

One of the animals reacted at that moment and attacked the man.

For a number of years, the zoo keeper had been employed there.

Following the terrible case, the police and prosecutors launched an investigation.

Pitesti City Hall representatives informed The Sun Online: “The worker responsible for cleaning the area went into the tiger’s cage without following the security protocols.

To be more specific, the worker had to remove the tiger from the cage using a safety door after cleaning it in a yard that was surrounded by a high fence.

“But the worker did not respect that measure, he forgot to close the safety door, the tiger entered back in his cage and bite him from the head.”
