The Game Awards showcases 19 games ahead of the biggest gaming event of the year
Often referred to as the “gaming Oscars,” the Game trophies are more than just trophies.
The biggest forthcoming games’ videos, reveals, and announcements run for hours during the ceremony.
The Game Awards partnered with Day of the Devs to preview several major titles and reveal some upcoming indies just prior to the presentation.
Here is all the information you require on the Day of the Devs display.
Lok Digital
The goal of the puzzle game Lok is to solve crossword-style problems by learning a new language.
To support the survival of the Lok species, expand your vocabulary in the Lok language and solve more challenging riddles.
More in The Game Awards
Lok is now available on PC and will be released on iOS and Android in 2025.
TankHead
A roguelike in which futuristic robots construct tanks that engage in combat.
To defeat the opponent, you will need to use cumbersome tank controls, just as in actual tanks.
Tankhead is available on the Epic Games Store right now.
Crescent County
You compete against pals on your broom in Crescent County, which is a combination of street races and magical witches.
It’s a true mix of genres, with a major focus on your interactions with the locals.
Crescent County has no stated release date, and a driving (flying?) test demo is now available on Steam.
Hyper Light Breaker
This 3D roguelike, created by the same team who created Hyper Light Drifter, is a completely new kind of game.
Before your time runs out, try to defeat the boss on procedurally created maps.
In January 2025, Hyper Light Breaker will be made available to Steam early access users.
Kingmakers
Kingmakers poses the question, “What would war look like in medieval times if everyone had guns?” and provides a solution.
The surprise is that in this destructible sandbox, which can be played single or cooperatively, you and your friends are the only gunslingers.
In February 2025, Kingmakers will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Bionic Bay
Watch Bionic Bay if you enjoy 2D platformers with distinctive twists, such as Limbo or Braid.
As you teleport back and forth to accomplish your objective, it all comes down to exploration and quick problem-solving.
The PS5 and Steam versions of Bionic Bay will be available on March 23, 2024.
Blue Prince
Blue Prince, a mystery puzzle game in which you search a house for answers, has one of the more bizarre trailers during Day of the Devs.
Although it’s uncertain exactly what we’ll find inside, I believe that adds to the overall intrigue of the game.
Early in 2025, Blue Prince will be available on Windows and Steam.
Demon Tides
A fun 3D platformer with fast-paced action that resembles games like Penny’s Big Breakaway.
Numerous clothes will be available, along with online features that allow you to flaunt your skills to others in the open-world sandbox.
In 2025, Demon Tides will debut on Steam.
Faraway
Play as a star swinging around other stars to form new constellations in this re-release of the beloved on-button casual game.
Because the levels are randomly created, you can play them over and over again while attempting to create the most elaborate shapes you can.
In 2025, Faraway will be made available on PC.
Neon Abyss 2
Neon Abyss 2, a follow-up to the 2020 roguelike run-and-gun shooter, aims to intensify the action.
You can switch up how you wish to cut through the stages thanks to a brand-new weapon system and fresh fighting techniques.
In 2025, Neon Abyss 2 will be released for PC.
Feltopia
With its fully handfelted graphics, Feltopia is an intriguing spin on the genre for fans of side-scrolling SHUMPs.
You fly on a pegasus to clean up your town in this adorable em up with stop-motion animation.
In 2026, Feltopia will be released on Steam.
Blippo+
Blippo+, an interactive TV set with 1-bit black-and-white graphics, is a very unique kind of game.
There will be a large selection of nostalgia shows to engage with, based on the bizarre TV series of the 1990s.
Although the release date for Blippo+ was not disclosed at the showcase, it is stated to be imminent.
Curiosmos
It’s a city builder with a twist because you’ll be constructing planets and preparing them for life to emerge and develop rather than just a straightforward town.
But your solar system is in danger, and in order to save your civilizations, you will need to discover the universe’s secrets.
This one does not yet have a release date, and we do not yet know when we will see more.
Incolatus: Don’t Stop, Girlypop!
Incolatus is more akin to Doom (2016) than Barbie Riding Club, despite its adorable appearance.
You must keep moving in this fast-paced first-person shooter if you want to maintain your damage, multiplier, and health.
It’s coming to PC, but there’s no release date yet.
Inkonbini: One Store. Many Stories
You take on the role of a cashier in a small Japanese convenience shop in the early 1990s in this slice-of-life simulation game.
In addition to running the business, you will engage with clients to gradually discover more about their lives.
Although there isn’t a release date listed, it will be available on the Xbox, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.
PBJ The Musical
As a peanut and a strawberry attempt to meet while embarking on a wonderful, musical trip, this turns the crazy factor up to eleven.
We’re eager to learn more about this intriguing art style, which features cutout black-and-white photos.
The amusing PBJ The Musical does not yet have a release date or platform.
Recur
Time travels in this 3D puzzle game as you go through it, controlling the fourth dimension as you go.
It’s one of those that will initially melt your brain, but once you wrap your mind around it, it feels really good.
Although a release date has not yet been set, Recur will debut on Steam.
Sleight of Hand
Your cards determine the tricks you may do in this hybrid of third-person stealth action and deck building.
Your decisions impact as you attempt to navigate the world, much like in immersive simulations like Dishonored.
Although Sleight of Hand has no set release date, it will be available on Xbox and Steam.
Ultimate Sheep Raccoon
Ultimate Sheep Raccoon, the sequel to Ultimate Chicken Horse, is a party game that expands on the platforming foundations of the series.

Rather, it’s a bike racer in which you compete against pals to win via speeding.
