Brit teen opens up on jail shock after sex with 17-year-old girl in Dubai
A British adolescent who was shocked to be imprisoned yesterday talked about his holiday romance with a 17-year-old girl in Dubai.
During a brief affair in the Muslim emirate, Marcus Fakana, 18, had sex with the adolescent Londoner.
However, once her parents reported him, Dubai police detained him.
A judge has now sentenced him to 12 months in prison.
Markus, a resident of Tottenham, North London, was reportedly incredulously startled.
He will spend his time in the high-security Al-Awir prison among terrorists.
Last night, the family of apprentice builder Fakana was said to be distraught.
Founder Radha Stirling, who was detained in Dubai, said: It’s just horrible. It’s ruining his life.
The British government seemed to have abandoned him.
“We’re supporting a British man in the United Arab Emirates and are in contact with his family,” the Foreign Office stated.
