Iconic car brand beloved by Kardashians & Real Housewives can be plugged into normal socket & goes 80 miles per charge

It’s the vintage vehicle that has returned to the American A-list.

Originally developed as a tough British military vehicle in the late 1950s, the Moke is now an incredibly fashionable, environmentally friendly electric car that can be charged using a regular wall socket.

Today’s Moke has a celebrity fan base full of well-known celebrities, despite once being adored by luminaries like Brigitte Bardot.

The Kardashians adore them so much that Kris Jenner bought 15 last Christmas, and celebrities like Jay Leno, Billy Joel, Katy Perry, and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills have all been spotted with the cherished vehicle.

In happier times, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck went to St. Barts, while Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have also tried it out.

The Moke has made appearances on television in Vince Vaughn’s Bad Monkey on Apple TV+ and the Netflix series Selling Sunset.

Two limited-edition 007Mokes were produced in honor of the spy’s classic style. Partnerships with luxury labels such as Vilebrequin, Fred Segal, and Louis Vuitton have solidified the Moke’s position as the best leisure cruiser.

“It’s a beach car, a family car, and a feel-good car,” Todd Rome, the founder of Moke America, told The U.S. Sun.

“No plane meets every mission, and no one car meets every mission, but this is the car to have.”

Rome, who had worked in luxury aviation and sold Blue Star Jets, a private aviation company that he says “revolutionized” the industry, brought the Moke brand back to life eight years ago.

With over 5,000 motorcycles on the road and over $100 million in sales, the company has had incredible success.

Electric MOKE hits the road for summer

According to him, the cars are “wonderful if you have a vacation home, a place in the warm weather.” They start at $21,975 at retail.

“Men, women, and children all adore them.” “Everyone loves the Moke, but maybe only men love Ferraris,” Rome continued.

ELECTRIC FEELING

The Moke stands apart in the market as electric vehicles continue to gain popularity due to rising gasoline prices and more environmental consciousness.

Moke America has already embraced the future, even though luxury automakers like Mercedes-Benz, Bentley, and Jaguar intend to completely switch to electric vehicles by 2030.

In the US, they manufacture, market, and ship. The Moke is hand-assembled in California and Florida and comes with customisable features to fit any taste.

Customers can choose from a variety of seating configurations, 12 eye-catching colors, and a number of fashionable features.

It is completely electric, legal on the street, and eco-friendly. It is categorized as a Neighborhood Electric Vehicle (NEV) and has a top speed of 25 mph, making it ideal for roadways with 35 mph or below speed limits.

However, because the standards in Europe are different from those in North America, they do not sell there.

The Moke is more than just an upgraded golf cart thanks to features like a high-end music system, roll bars that can be customized, and a stylish appearance.

Rome went on to say, “It’s a niche lifestyle vehicle,”

With ordinary AGM batteries, the driving range can reach up to 40 miles; with a lithium battery upgrade, it can reach 50 or 80 miles.

Rome claims that one of his best selling points is the car’s simplicity.

There is no need for specialized stations, and charging takes only six hours using any typical 110-volt outlet. It connects to the wall, much like the majority of appliances.

It is more robust and useful than its predecessor thanks to its larger build, rust-proof frame, and watertight inside.

It’s possible that Moke’s comeback has disproved the notion that electric vehicles aren’t feasible.

“Ten years ago, few believed in electric cars, especially in America,” Rome said.

However, the Moke is more than just a sentimental item. While remaining loyal to its roots, we updated this 50-year-old brand to make it more powerful, expansive, and electrifying.

One of the Moke’s main selling points is its customizable features. You may customize it however you like by selecting from a variety of colors, grills, roll bars, and rims. For instance, you might own a pink car with blue rims or white roll bars.

The concept was straightforward: introduce the Moke to America, enlarge, broaden, fortify, and—above all—electricize it. That is precisely what we have done.
