Ice hockey star set for spell on sidelines after being cut in GROIN in X-rated accident

After suffering a groin cut in a terrifying accident, an ice hockey great will be sidelined for a while.

Radek Faska, a standout for the St. Louis Blues, was hurt during a Vancouver Canucks NHL game.

He shoved opponent Danton Heinen onto the ice when they were fighting for the puck.

However, Heinen’s left leg was flung into the air as he fell, and he unintentionally caught Faska in his crotch.

Faska kept going until he realized he was injured, at which point he promptly skated off the rink to get help.

The head coach of the Blues acknowledged that the skate nearly struck Faska’s intimate areas, but it’s possible that an athletic protection rescued him.

“I’m not a doctor,” he continued, “but it was really close to his private parts. It could have been considerably worse.

“He is doing fine. One of the skates cut him. Fortunately, there was no harm, but he did require some sutures.

Faska missed the San JoseSharks game, which his team lost 4-3.

In his comments on the situation, sports injury specialist Dr. Harjas Grewal voiced concern for Faska’s femoral artery.

He stated: “I sincerely hope his femoral artery is okay because it is a big vessel that needs immediate repair because it carries a lot of blood.”

“Still lots of other important structures including nerves, veins, muscles.”
