Shocking moment oblivious tourist is hit by train while taking selfie in front of screaming onlookers in Taiwan

This video shows the horrifying scene in Taiwan as a train crashes into a tourist who is unaware that they are taking a selfie.

Watch as 55-year-old Liu Nu appears to be trying to take a picture with the locomotive while standing with her back to the approaching train.

The woman is too preoccupied with seeing the ideal perspective to notice the train’s horn blowing to alert her of its approach.

Because Liu was so close to the track, she was knocked to the ground when the train’s sharp corner struck her right shoulder.

Spectators may be heard yelling in shock and astonishment.

The wounded woman, meantime, is motionless and obviously in pain as she lies quietly on the ground.

At the end of the film, she starts to move her legs as other tourists rush to her side to assist her.

After being wrapped, Liu was brought to the hospital to receive treatment for non-life-threatening wounds.

She had a broken left foot, according to a medical checkup.

After it struck Liu, the train ground to an emergency stop, causing the carriages and passengers to be delayed for an hour.

On December 14, the train journeying from Chiayi to Alishan, Taiwan, had delays that impacted 62 people in total.

The party that gathered around the track to take pictures is said to have been traveling with a company called Dream International Travel Agency.

The next day, the Lin Tie Cultural and Capital Office responded to the startling collision.

The group’s travel agency was given a criminal record, they said, and would not be allowed to apply to enter the vicinity of the railway track for a year.

Additionally, the business was hit with a $5,000 punishment.

To ascertain whether the train or track sustained any damage, an examination is still underway.

Following the embarrassing error, the travel firm issued an apology and claimed that a passenger’s selfie was the cause of the incident.

According to a spokesman, an agency employee had advised customers to avoid the train and stated that the organization will improve its training to guarantee future safety.

Days prior to this Taiwanese disaster, a similar incidence in Sri Lanka was captured on camera.

After hanging out of a carriage in an attempt to capture the ideal photo, a foolish tourist fell off a train.

The young woman was pulled off the carriage and struck in the head by some tree branches while she was leaning back and clinging to the railings.
