Michael Vick, an NFL legend, might be coaching like Deion Sanders.
The former quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons met with a new college football team to discuss a possible head coaching position.
Vick has met with Sacramento State regarding their head coaching position.
“He has expressed interest in the position and yes I did meet with him about his interest in Sac State football and our athletic rise,” Luke Wood, president of Sac State, told ESPN.
“As you can imagine, given the success of our athletic programs that our football head coach job is an attractive role.”
According to Adam Schefter, $50 million has apparently been put aside for NIL as part of Sacramento State’s ambitious plans for its athletic departments.

Additionally, the university intends to advance its football team to the FBS level, competing in the Mountain West or Pac-12 conferences.
After former head coach Andy Thompson left for a position as assistant coach at Stanford, the Sacramento State position became available.
This season, the school placed 11th in the Big Sky with a 3-9 record.
Vick might be a desirable addition to the Sacramento State team for potential donors and players.
However, they are not the only school that is seeking him. Vick also had an interview for the position of head coach at Norfolk State.
Vick’s hometown of Newport News, Virginia, is not far from Norfolk State.
Vick has had experience making it to the college football championship stage.
When he was playing, he led Virginia Tech to the 1999 national championship game.
Despite losing against Florida State in the end, he was selected with the first overall choice in the 2000 NFL Draft.
