Who won the NBA Cup 2024? Full results after Las Vegas final between Oklahoma City Thunder and Milwaukee Bucks

After an amazing final in Las Vegas, the NBA Cup is finally done for another season, and a second winner has been crowned.

The Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 97-81 in a thrilling and stifling game to win the championship.

After an amazing triple-double in the championship game, where he scored 26 points, grabbed 19 rebounds, and dished out 10 assists, Giannis Antetokounmpo was awarded the MVP.

Damian Lillard, his running buddy, scored 23 points and made 50% of his three-point attempts.

The Bucks’ outstanding defense reduced the Thunder to only 15.6% from long range, limiting Thunder sensation Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to just 21 points from 24 shots.

How does the NBA Cup work?

30 teams are randomly assigned to groups of five within their conference based on their won-loss records from the 2023–24 regular season, and the NBACup starts with the ‘Group Play’ round.

Each squad will play two home games and two away games against each of the four teams in their group.

The six teams with the highest standing from their Group Play games and two extra wild cards—the club from each conference with the best record in Group Play games but placed second in its group—will advance to the Knockout Rounds once all 30 teams have finished their group matches.

The quarterfinals, semifinals, and championship match are the first three stages of the single-elimination knockout rounds, which are contested by eight teams.

With the exception of the championship game, all 67 games played in the NBA Cup’s two stages will be included in the regular-season rankings.
